Well, it is pretty simple. These days batteries are so powerful that you get the same amount of torque from cordless drills. The prices are practically the same and you can get two batteries, so you can work non-stop. You charge one while you work with the other battery, so when you drain one battery, you can quickly replace them, and start working in a couple of seconds. The size of the cordless drills also allows me to work in very tight spaces, where I wouldn’t have had access if I were using a normal drill. Also, remember to get yourself a drill bit sharpener so you can reuse the drill bits, and keeping them sharp can really save some money especially if you’re spending a lot of time breaking those drill bits.
