Having a kitchen sink such as a ceramic, granite or copper sink but when a leak appears underneath your sink it can be a problem to trace.  This is especially so with double kitchen sinks that include garbage disposals because of the number of connections, pipes and joints that have to be inspected.  The usual cause for a leak underneath a kitchen sink is either a dripping tap, a seal in a joint or split in the pipe.  Careful inspection is required and once detected the water supply will have to be turned off and then the leak can then be fixed.  Kitchen sink plumbing is best left to a qualified plumber but with a little research into DIY can be completed by oneself.
