Looking back at her teenage years, it’s a wonder to me that my daughter and I are so close now. She was wild, and wouldn’t listen to anything I said. I remember once she took out a credit card in my name, and I ended up having to look for credit repair attorneys to help me repair the damage she did. She finally ended up in treatment, where she was able to get cleaned up and we had the chance to do family counseling. That was a turning point for us, and ever since then we have been very close. And she always tells me how grateful she is that I stuck by her side through everything.
